Hi , I am writing from Canberra Sec School in singapore and we are organising the
above project. This project hopes to involve schools and students all over the
world whether SARS affected or not.

We would like to invite you to participate.

Our project involves :

A collection of articles, data and research from participating schools documenting
the following:

- how has SARS affected life in your country? (social-economic effects like on
tourism related industries , or public education programs, prevention and
containment measures, medical and scientific research carried out by your country
etc)
- how SARS has affected your school or education in general (eg school closure,
ensuring the safety of students in schools, using e-learning during school closure,
raising students' awareness and social responisibility etc)
- personal stories/reactions/reflections to/on the disease and the changes it has
brought, fears and worries etc
- inspirational stories of courage , dedication and sacrifice
- how to instill confidence in the people to lead normal lives, precautionary
measures, health-related advice etc

This could include photos, publication about prevention and public education like
phamplets and posters, media coverage, interviews etc

Another aspect of this project is a digital art collage contributed by all
participating schools based on the theme of COURAGE in the battle against this
disease.

This could explore values like courage, dedication, sacrifice, of common people,
patients or medical personnel

school will be in charge of collating and publishing and this book will be sent to
all participating schools

be sent to each participating school plus framed and given as tribute to the SARS
designated hospital in Singapore

TIME -FRAME

I hope to hear from you soon and if you have any ideas to add, this will be most
welcomed.
