Grade 9 World History/Culture students at the Perth Amboy Campus of the Middlesex County Vocational & Technical High Schools are studying the influences of geography on life within a country or state. Students must write a three part research paper describing the geography of the area, stating how it influences life and how they, the students, would address and improve the geographic issues if they were in a position of power. To gather first hand data, students will be contacting PROJECT IDEA EXCHANGE members and/or missions to the United Nations. Students will be required to present their finding using a method of communications that they select. This is being done as a joint English and History project.
